The new service is based on a ready-to-use extension of EGERIE Integrated Risk Management Platform, enriched by THOT IT Solutions and performed by EBRC. The collaborative application is preloaded with customizable templates, including essential cloud controls and with the full set of requirements laid down by the CSSF Circular. EBRC and THOT IT Solutions support the clients to gain this cloud expertise on the whole lifecycle thanks to tailor-made advisory services.
The need for a Cloud Governance Platform
Data and IT Operations are more and more complex to manage and data can be highly sensitive or less sensitive. Moving to the cloud offers many benefits but at the same time, some cloud services expose clients to new security and control risks.
“A Cloud Readiness Assessment Service, offers the opportunity to position, assess, improve and manage risks, identify the critical operations, the sensitivity of data, as well as compliance with security & data protection regulations such as ISO 27001, NIS and GDPR. Based on a pragmatic and concrete assessment, we will help our clients adopt the best strategy to migrate to the cloud and define the best roadmap and architecture to mitigate their risk and insure their compliance with all regulations” said Philippe Dann, EBRC Head of Risk & Business Advisory EBRC.
A platform to meet regulatory requirements
In addition to accelerating the cloud adoption process for financial institutions of all sizes, the new Cloud Readiness Assessment service offers a stepwise process with check points allowing strong collaboration, industrialization, traceability and reporting capabilities. "Our new Cloud Readiness Assessment service is equally suited for both small companies with limited resources and large organizations which will benefit from a powerful accelerator for their cloud adoption initiatives", explained the expert Hervé Decker, Founder & Cloud Officer at THOT IT Solutions.
Currently adapted to meet the requirements of CSSF Circular 19/714, the scalable Cloud Adoption Process module is ready to support additional regulatory frameworks. The current roadmap plans to extend the service coverage to other European regulatory bodies or policy makers.
